BARBARA HANACHOVA – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or receiving any services. By booking an appointment, purchasing a programme, joining the Mother’s Herbal Club, or accessing any of my services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. ABOUT MY SERVICES

I, Barbara Hanachova, am a:

•Registered Midwife (UK) providing private antenatal and postnatal midwifery care and online support.

•Licensed Homeopath, offering holistic homeopathic consultations for babies, children, and adults.

•Infant Feeding Specialist, supporting breastfeeding, bottle feeding, feeding challenges, and early parenting.

•Holistic Health & Wellness Coach integrating lifestyle guidance, nutrition, stress support, and natural remedies.

What I do provide

•Private antenatal and postnatal midwifery support

•Homeopathy consultations

•Infant feeding support

•Health, nutrition and lifestyle coaching

•Natural remedy guidance

•Educational workshops

•Digital content and membership-based support

•Online consultations worldwide

What I do not provide

•Intrapartum care (labour or birth attendance)

•Emergency medical or midwifery care

•Medical diagnosis or treatment of disease

•Prescription or alteration of medications

•Urgent or out-of-hours services

•Replacement for NHS or private maternity/medical care

Clients must remain under the care of their GP, maternity provider, paediatrician, or other licensed healthcare professionals as appropriate.

2. SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Homeopathy

Homeopathic care is holistic and complementary. It supports the body’s self-regulating capacity. It is not a substitute for medical treatment and does not replace your GP or specialist care.

Midwifery (Antenatal & Postnatal Only)

I provide private midwifery support within UK regulations. I do not provide intrapartum care, clinical emergency care, or medical management beyond midwifery scope.

Infant Feeding Support

My services are educational and supportive. They do not replace medical assessment for infant health concerns.

Coaching & Holistic Support

Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment. All decisions regarding health and lifestyle changes are the responsibility of the client.

3. CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA PROTECTION

All consultations are confidential.

Your records are kept securely in accordance with:

•UK GDPR

•Data Protection Act 2018

•My Privacy Policy (available here)

You may request a copy of your records at any time.

Information may be shared only:

•With your explicit written consent

•If required by law

•If there is reasonable concern of risk to yourself, a child, or another person

•With my professional supervisors/mentors (anonymised)

4. CONSULTATIONS & COMMUNICATION

Appointments

All consultations (online or in-person) require full payment 24 hours prior to confirm the booking.

Online consultations

Conducted via Cliniko TeleHealth or a secure link sent to you.

Sessions are not recorded unless mutually agreed.

Heidi AI Medical Scribe

I may use Heidi AI, an NHS-approved, GDPR-compliant digital scribe during online consultations to help create accurate notes.

By booking, you consent to this tool being used. No recordings or identifiable audio are stored by Heidi.

Children & home environment

I conduct online sessions from a private space. Very occasionally, my young child may enter unexpectedly; I appreciate your understanding. The same understanding is offered if your children are present on your side.

Between consultations

You may contact me on weekdays (10am–8pm) by WhatsApp or email for:

•Clarification of remedy responses

•Updates between appointments

•Support with simple acute, self-limiting conditions

•Nutrition and lifestyle guidance 

I aim to respond within 24 hours on weekdays.

I do not offer emergency or out-of-hours services.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

•Payment is required at least 24 hours before your appointment.

•Midwifery plans and packages may be paid in individually agreed interest-free instalments (first instalment before the first consult).

•Follow-up appointments are billed separately unless part of a plan.

Remedies

•UK clients: Most homeopathic remedies are provided at no additional cost.

•Overseas clients: You will receive a detailed prescription and will need to obtain remedies locally.

•Tissue salts, herbs, supplements, flower essences, and non-homeopathic items are not included.

6. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

•48+ hours’ notice: Full refund

•12–48 hours’ notice: 50% refund

•Less than 12 hours’ notice or no-show: No refund

•Rescheduling is free with 12+ hours’ notice

Programmes (3+ month plans)

•Cancel before the first consultation: full refund

•Cancel after the first consultation: charged pro rata for the months used

•Cancellations after half of the plan are non-refundable

•Minimum 48 hours’ notice required before the next session to avoid billing

7. EMERGENCIES

I do not provide urgent medical advice, out-of-hours care, or emergency response.

If you or your child require urgent help, please contact:

•999 (UK emergency services)

•NHS 111

•Your GP

•Your local maternity triage unit

•Your paediatric emergency department

Homeopathy is not a substitute for emergency or life-saving care.

8. DIGITAL PRODUCTS, WORKSHOPS & MEMBERSHIPS

Digital Products (eBooks, recordings, downloads)

Due to the nature of instant-access digital goods, all sales are final and non-refundable.

Workshops & Events

•Online workshops are recorded only when clearly stated.

•Access to recordings is limited to the period stated at purchase.

•Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

Mother’s Herbal Club Membership

•Monthly or annual subscription via Stripe.

•Access continues as long as payments are active.

•Cancel any time; no refunds for unused periods.

•Members must follow group guidelines and maintain respectful behaviour.

9. LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by UK law:

•I am not liable for decisions you make based on consultations or materials.

•I do not guarantee outcomes of homeopathy, coaching, feeding support, or midwifery care.

•You are responsible for informing your healthcare providers of remedies used.

•You must continue all prescribed medications unless advised otherwise by your prescribing clinician.

Nothing in this agreement limits liability for fraud or negligence where the law does not allow it.

10. JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

11. AGREEMENT

By booking, attending a consultation, purchasing a product, or joining a membership, you confirm that:

•You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

•You are over 18 or are booking on behalf of your child.

•You consent to the scope of practice, data handling, and communication terms.
